Hannah McDonald - Director
Hannah is a Junior Film Production major and really does like piña coladas and getting caught in the rain. This will be the 20th student film that she's worked on and she's 20 years old so that must mean something- right? When she was a kid all she wanted to do was be a mom. The good news is she's recently discovered that she can both be a mom and have an awesome job! (Though we'll hold on the mom part for a while). She feels so lucky to work with such a fantastic crew to bring this story to life.

Nicole Ramirez - 1st Assistant Director
Nicole Ramirez, first Assistant Director, grew up in Anaheim Hills, California. From the time she was six years old, to the time she was thirteen, she was absolutely bent on becoming a fashion designer. There was never a time that she wasn’t drawing or taking pictures of all the pretty clothes around her mother’s closet or on the streets of Los Angeles. Fabrics, colors and textures were always her happy things, along with her best friend and puppy, Oliver. As the years went on, her love of color and arts never left, leading her into her love of film. Film school has made her happier than her mother’s closet ever could, even though, those early days have always stuck with her.
P.S. She is in the middle!

Camille Smura - Co - Location Manager
Originally from the Bay Area of California, Camille is completing her fourth and last year at Chapman University, pursuing a B.F.A in Film Production with an emphasis in directing. Her love affair with the cinematic arts began during her teenage years when she suffered a dramatic quarter-life crisis and, subsequently, became involved in theater. She branched off into a more digital medium once she stepped behind a camera and discovered a world she’d never known. When she was a kid, Camille wanted to be a veterinarian because she loved animals, but she also liked to perform plays in front of her parents and family friends at dinner parties, so eventually, the more creative path won. Her parents are still coping.

Helena McGill - Production Designer
Helena McGill is a Freshman Film Production major at Chapman University, and she actually lives on film sets. All she wanted to do was fly when she was a kid, so she cut out wings from a cardboard box and has been exploring the sky ever since. She's super excited to production design this film and might have to throw in a few things from when she was a kid, because she still plays with toys. The director told her, "you've got to be kidding."

Justine Stewart - Visual FX
Justine Stewart is a Seattleite who has ventured down to sunny California to pursue her dreams. Having interned at Sony Pictures Studios, she has decided to delve more deeply into the game industry instead of film. However, she often does art and visual effects for fellow students and independent productions because she loves the challenge and the camaraderie of a film crew! Her bread and butter is Maya, AfterEffects, and Photoshop. Most of her free time is spent sketching, playing Assassin's Creed, writing her graphic novel, hanging out with friends, and drinking green tea. LOTS of green tea.
